Making our places all together better

Local government has the power to transform their places for the benefit of all their citizens. For hundreds of years they have invested in the infrastructure and amenities which we can sometimes take for granted. 

Now these vital community builders face new challenges as they consider how to build greener, fairer and better places for us all to live. Now, more than ever, they need to continue to invest in our futures and, once more, citizens can be a vital source of the money to build the new green and social infrastructure that we all need.

We also know that many of us want our money to be doing more. It can feel like our investments can be divorced from reality, with our fortunes dictated by bubbles and speculation rather than anything that is linked to our real lives. A very real consequence of that is we can find ourselves chasing profit at the cost of purpose, and we find that money is flowing out of our places just when we need it most. 

Abundance changes that. We help citizens to put money back in its place, creating a direct and lasting partnership with councils and local government to fund what matters locally.

Our purpose is simple. Make sure every pound invested builds something visible, tangible, lasting —  a greener street, a warmer home, a stronger community.

We help people invest to make better places.  And when we invest together, we make our places — all together better.
